The George T. Lewis Memorial Scholarship.
The late George T Lewis Chief Fire Marshal of Delaware County was a dedicated fire officer, public safety advocate and fire service educator. His determination in providing advanced educational opportunities for emergency responders of the county is being continued through this program. Applications may be downloaded at the link below or may be requested by contacting the Chairman at the address listed below.. Applicants must be an active member of Fire Companies, Ambulance Companies, Rescue Companies located within Delaware County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The applicant themselves need not be a member of The Delaware County Firemen's Association but the Fire Company, Ambulance Company, Rescue Company must be a member of The Delaware County Firemen's Association, Awards will first be given to those applicants whose field of study is fire sciences, fire safety and to directly related fields such as medical. If after awards are given as stated above there are available scholarships they will be awarded to those applicants in other fields of higher education.
